2013/2014 Update: JAMB educates candidates on computer based test

The
Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), on
Thursday in Kaduna State, said only 15
per cent of candidates sitting for it examinations in 2013 would use the
Computer Based Test.
Its Registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde stated this in Kaduna during a campaign to promote the newly introduced method of examination.

The
registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, however stated that the computer based test
would only become compulsory for all candidates in the year 2015.
According
to Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, the CBT method of examination will guarantee the
student to have their results, 30minutes after the exams.
Also it will eliminate examination malpractice, it will eradicate incomplete jamb results as well as black-out results.

The two
places where the Computer based test Jamb examination will really hold is
Rivers State and Lagos.
Apparently,
Majority of Jamb 2013 candidates will be using the Paper Pencil Test. (PPT).
