How to Use Graphics to Enhance Your Website; What You Need To Know

Did you know that with the right kind of graphics on your site, you can boost your sales? It’s true. This is why you see a lot of people with all kinds of graphics and images on their site. It instills confidence in a prospect, and helps to further the sale. The right kind of graphics can really take your business to the next level.


In the past, I used to have a lot of different images on my blog. I thought this was a good idea, because I wanted to look “successful” and “profitable” and look like a “guru”. But doing this was incredibly damaging to my business. Instead, I redesigned my blog to be as simple as possible.


On every page of my blog, you will see only 1 graphic image. Other than that, my blog layout, theme, and design are as simple as a pencil – and I like it that way. But that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to follow in my footsteps. For your niche, having a lot of images and flashing banners might actually do well for you.


Just don’t confuse your prospects. If someone arrives at your site and they see all kinds of images, they may not know what to read, what to click on, or what to do!


So what will they do? Well, they will just abandon your page – probably never to return ever again. So you don’t want to confuse them with your graphics.


My very first website was ugly, but in my eyes it was the epitomy of my life. Essentially I lost over thousands of naira, and didn’t make one red kobo. My website design was just problem. The background that the text was on looked like brown notebook paper. I mean it was just terrible.


Fast forward years later and some internet marketing skills learned, I was able to start getting consistent sales. This is something that was largely due to the fact that I was using some website graphics on my site. I didn’t know the power of this until I read it on a forum online, but when I tested it, it worked like crazy.


You don’t necessarily need website graphics to start making a lot of money online. But adding some will definitely help. With it you can improve your business and see conversion rates increase immediately. But you have to pick the right graphics for your site – and pick the kind of graphics that will have you on the fast track to success.


There are a lot of different styles of graphics that you can use. I personally like to use headers to get my point across. Your’s may be different, but as long as it works, it’s cool with me. Test and track your images used on your site, and make sure they’re increasing sales, and not hindering them.
