FEES PAYABLE TO MAPOLY

Studying at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic may look costly for newly admitted students. The processes from clearance to other payments can financially burden to parents and guardians.

Gaining admission to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic comes with many expenses from the acceptance, school fees, accommodation fees and other charges.

It is necessary to know the school expenses for first-year students. It would help you draft your school budget for presentation to your parents or guardian.

 MAPOLY First Year School Expenses

Here is the category of school expenses for newly admitted students in MAPOLY;

Acceptance Fee

The acceptance fee is the money you pay to accept your MAPOLY admission. It is the first payment you will make as a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

MAPOLY acceptance fee is thirty five thousand, five hundred naira (₦35,500). In total with service charge will be fifty two thousand, five hundred naira (₦37,500).

School Fees

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic school fees is affordable going for below N150,000. The school has a diverse student body; it also doesn't include student’s religious or cultural background as a metric during admission screening, so candidates from different parts of the country are free to apply for admission.

MAPOLY school fees for both full-time & part-time fresher are between One hundred plus to One hundred and ninety thousand naira (₦100,000+ – 190,000).

Note that MAPOLY school fees may change every academic session.

MAPOLY Clearance Fee

MAPOLY clearance is free of charge.

You do not pay any money for clearance as a student of Moshood Abiola polytechnic.

But there are some expenses you will make during your clearance. They include the following;

• Passport Photograph

You need thirty (30) passports for your academic clearance.

Also, during second phase registration you will use passports on all File A & B documents, photocopies and for your manual course registration in MAPOLY.

In total you might need need sixty (60) passports

• Photocopy of Documents

You need three (3) copies of each of your clearance documents. You will spend like N1,500.

Sundry Fees

Sundry fees also called Admin fee is for All levels: both full-time & part-time students

Full-time N1,700

Part-time N5,000

Departmental Dues

This departmental dues for both Regular and Part-time students. The departmental fee is N1,500

SUG Dues

The SUG fee is N1,500

Medical Fees

Students are to get the form from the School clinic. You go to designated health centre or hospital and where you do your test. it comprises of Blood/Urine Test, X-Ray and Eye Test....this stage initiates the Registration Process.

This will cost like N12,000

Accommodation Fee

The accommodation is just Off-campus accommodation; MAPOLY don’t have school hostel

Off-campus accommodation is between Sixty to two hundred and fifty thousand for a single room and self-contain.

Only pay for a house that you have inspected yourself. Make sure to ask questions from people living in the area.

Note that many agents are going around looking for first year students to defraud. Shine your eyes.
